CENTRALIZED TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM HAS BEEN COMMISSIONED ON SECTIONS OF JSC «UKRAINIAN RAILWAYS»

As part of the project “Modernization of UZ priority railway lines. Installation of train traffic control system on priority railway lines of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) corridors in Ukraine”, financed by the EBRD loan, dispatch centralization (DC) was put into operation on the sections:

• Poltava-Kremenchuk-Burti of the Southern Railway;
• Hrebinka-Myrhorod of the Southern Railway;
• Podilsk-Pomichna on the Odesa Railways;
• Lviv-Krasne-Zdolbuniv on the Lviv Railway.

DC were implemented on the basis of microprocessor dispatch centralization MDС-U manufactured by SRPA "Impulse".

Implementation of DC provided:

• Control from one point of the transportation control center (TCC) of train traffic at stations, crossings and long distance sections.
• Automation of traffic schedule maintenance and control process based on the forecast traffic schedule.
• Provision of information to TCC personnel on the situation in the dispatching section and the status of signaling and DC devices.
