ACCEPTANCE TESTING OF «BLACK BOX» SYSTEM TO REGISTER IMPORTANT OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS (SRVP)

In July 2014, the acceptance testing of the «Black box» system to register important operational parameters (SRVP) for Unit 1 of Zaporizhzhya NPP was carried out at the testing ground of PJSC “SRPA “Impulse”.

The “Black box” system is designated to perform acquisition, registration, storage, and provision of access to the information on parameters of NPP units in emergency and postemergency conditions of design and beyond design basis accidents.

The representatives of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine, the thermal instrumentation & control shop of SS “Zaporizhzhya NPP”, PJSC “SRPA “Impulse” took part in the testing.

The results of the acceptance testing confirmed that the “Black box” system meets the requirements of the requirements specification, as well as the requirements of the normative nuclear and radiation safety documents and confirmed readiness to be supplied to Zaporizhzhya NPP-1.
