THE EQUIPMENT OF THE LOWER LEVEL OF IVS HAS BEEN COMMISSIONED AT UNIT 1 OF ZAPORIZHZHYA NPP

At the end of December 2014, the equipment of the lower level of the process information system (NU IVS) based on MSKU-4, PS5140 was commissioned at of Unit 1 of Zaporizhzhya NPP.

NU IVS is designated to acquire and process the operating information (in the reconstructed complexes for communication with the facility of the turbine and reactor divisions) on the technological process, state of the equipment, state of the normal operation systems and safety control systems, as well as to transfer the information to the upper level of IVS.

The equipment was installed, operability of the measuring channels after replacement of NU IVS was confirmed. The preliminary comprehensive tests confirmed operability of equipment functions in accordance with the design and terms of reference, the personnel was trained and tested.
