THE ACCEPTANCE TESTING OF SUA TPKV FOR RNPP-4

In September 2016, the acceptance testing of the system to control emergency “Coolant leak from the primary circuit to the secondary one with the equivalent section DY 100” SUA TPKV for Unit 4 of Rivne NPP was carried out at the site of SD “RNPP”.

The representatives of RNPP and PJSC “SRPA “Impulse” took part in the testing.

The following testing types were carried out:

• a check of completeness and quality of operational safety;
• an analysis of results of SUA TPKV trial operation;
• a check of elimination of remarks and defects detected during trial operation;
• a check of completeness and quality of SUA TPKV functions implementation in accordance with the requirements of ToR;
• a check of personnel work in a dialogue mode;
• a check of facilities and methods to restore operability of SUA TPKV after failures of equipment and separate functions;
• a check of protection against common cause failures, misrepresentations, erroneous actions and unauthorized access of the SUA TPKV system;
• a check of fulfilling the requirements to the interface of the SUA TPKV system;
• a check of fulfilling the requirements to information exchange with external systems.

The positive results of the carried out testing confirmed that SUA TPKV meets the requirements of the acceptance testing program, as well as those of the terms of reference. The results of the acceptance testing confirmed readiness of SUA TPKV to be put into commercial operation at Unit 4 of RNPP.
